Christmas!

Ahh.. First Christmas ever spent away from Brunei! It is great to see a much more livelier atmosphere here in Thailand other than Brunei's one and only main attraction during such holidays.. "The NBT, Toyota's decorations!" =D I mean.. Christmas trees and decorations are everywhere!

Anyway, it was kinda hard to adjust to having classes on Christmas eve. Frankly I was quite annoyed along with other international students. If I am not wrong, most of the other international schools have holidays since mid December. I even have classes on the 26th! =/ If people will ask me about this uni, I say go look for other unis, it is not as international as you think it markets itself. =P But then, the upside to it all.. There is a concert right at the very center of the dome!

I stayed around for 1 band called Lipta or something.. They were really good!ROCK IT! jeng jeng jeng jeng jengggg~I find it quite odd that they have a fashion show before the concert. Pretty random don't you think? I could be wrong.

Then back to the concert.. When I thought the fashion show was random, a banana tree came out of no where!
Found out that it was my friend who is a crazy fan of the singer.. Don't they use to give flowers back then? What will they use in the future??? Durian tree?
Oh.. that scale ruler is supposed to be his mic!

About his guy.. he is the pretty boy of the class who was one of the models in the fashion show. What was funny that we had a boot set up by our faculty, they used him to help their ever dying business. Seriously, salted egg for a price? Anyway, they got desperate so they used his face at 10bath for every picture taken with him! Then the highlight of the night.. this girl and guy came along.. it was a mess at first cause I had no idea whats going on. It drew a crowd to out boot.. At first all I know was that the girl was willing to pay 50 bath so she can kiss him! I thought that was pretty cool. Easy money.. But he was like all.. NO NO NO NO NOOO!!!! Wondered why he was so reluctant..

With no understanding of whats happening.. I waited then.

First we start of with doing senseless things..

Then we look explore further..
Ah! An idea..Tada..

Then it evolved..

And we went on making other stuffs..
Guns.. Knives and awesome sun glasses are what we learned to make on that day..


Anyway, is this right?

Educated toys? Isn't it suppose to be educational toys? Haha.. Beware, the toys have knowledge and they will use them against you! So tell your kids to not hammer their toy cars~

And I thought this was pretty cool.. they had a roof full of bills.. And yes they are actually money!

Bored in class

What do I do while I'm in class? Blog.. XD

Yeah I'm getting bored out of my mind and I decided to google for things to do when you are bored in class! I got this..Laughed my ass off while people were doing their work. Not to the point where I got unwanted attention tho. =P


Things to do while bored in class..

Day 1

Day1.. So it begins!
My first class would be non other than Thai language and cultural class. I just found out that I would actually be needing that language for my finals. Worst of all, it contributes to my overalls.. =S But then again, I guess learning a new language is always good. Or some may say.. cool! Hehe..

Here is my Thai class. The teacher was pretty funny cause she couldn't pronounce half of the class name. (English and Chinese name la..)
Then I have.. arts of fabrication? I have those classes here in the architectural building..
Then inside we have the studio which is the class itself..
And an idea of what my seniors have done which I'm reallyyyy looking forward to doing! Its like.. playing lego! Woohooo..

3 days before Uni

Well it's my first time ever staying in a Uni dorm so I don't really know what to expect for my room to look like. Other than what my room would look like, all my mind was pondering on while heading to Abac was what kind of roomate am I gonna get. Is he those that goes to the toilet and never wash their hands after they are done? Those that leave their crap all around? Stuff like that~

Anyways, back to about my dorm, my first impression of it was it being "dark" and "depressing". When I was here before to register for a room, I think it was when students are on holidays.. so it was empty and I think the uni was trying to save money on power? SO all the lights were turned off! Understand why I felt it was dark and depressing? =P Adding on to the depressing part, the building it kinda looked like a prison from the outside! Don't you think? But then again, there is still on going construction everywhere.. So I think they are not really as nice as they should be.. yet?

This one is pretty interesting.. Don't really know why they have a museum there. Never been there even tho I stay like.. just next to it~

But its all good.. the air conditioner outlet dries everything! Hehe..

I am actually pretty happy about the level of privacy you get from your roomate because of the cabinet in between. So all is good.

And to my relief.. my toilet is clean! Haha..
And to top it all..
NO FREAKING TOILET CHORES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Got weekly cleaning service. So that's pretty awesome!
